Women's Bible Study at Tita's House
Last week's Bible study was held at Sister Tita's house. We had a great time of study and prayer...and I brought my camera. For the past 3 weeks, the ladies have been meeting every morning at the church for a time of prayer and study in the book of Proverbs. This has been a really neat time, too, but I won't bring my camera to these studies. What woman wants her picture taken at 6 in the morning? Not me!!! The Thursday afternoon study is much more "photogenic"!
The ladies have also been focusing on praying for our families and children. We believe that we are in a battle for the very lives of the children of Boca del Rio. Over the past few weeks, we've seen more and more evidence that we are indeed in a spiritual battle with a very strong and very irritated enemy! Please join us in praying for the families of Boca del Rio.
The book of Luke, chapter 1 verse 17, (talking about John the Baptist) says, "and he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." We are praying that this turning of the hearts would be evident in Boca and that we would see families reunited and healed.
